Scarfing Up Some Stylestance

My lovely friend Magge wears a scarf to work almost every day and always looks fabulous. Magge's carefree chic style has inspired me to delve into the world of scarves myself; she even gifted me with my new favorite scarf on my desk one morning.

I recently ordered the charming little silk chiffon number above, hand dyed in an amazing selection of 30 colors, by Miss Megan Mac. Megan's shop also offers gorgeous hand-painted, batik and tie-dyed scarves.

I'm so looking forward to adding a subtle layer of warmth to my fall and winter wardrobe while also updating with a flowy, sexy look. Style + substance? It's a wrap.

Stylestancers, see you tomorrow with the results of the Punky Jane necklace giveaway!

Did you get that blue color in the photo? It's gorgeous, like a slice of the ocean. It's way too hot here still to wear a "real" scarf, but I'm so excited for the winter!

Hi Amy, I got a seafoam color, but this one is gorgeous too! Maybe the lighter weight of the silk chiffon would at least work for evenings now? :)

I love scarves, but I almost prefer knits over chiffon and other sheer materials. I am so anxious to wear them, I'm now walking around the city sweating a little under all my layers! :)

And seafoam... great pick!

scarves are amazing! I love them oh so much! And I'm about to get one from one of the scarf swaps one of my fellow bloggers was hosting!

That scarf is so pretty. The chiffon looks so airy & floaty.
